Get the Body You Want in Time for Swimsuit Season with SculpSure

Get the Body You Want in Time for Swimsuit Season with SculpSure

Swimming is one of the greatest pleasures of summer, and if you don’t swim, hanging around the beach, lake, or pool is a pretty good substitute. For most of us, these activities involve wearing a bathing suit, and if you’re embarrassed by bulges and bumps of stubborn fat, your enjoyment and pleasure take a big hit.

Fortunately, there’s a way to banish fat that’s resistant to diet and exercise — a solution that doesn’t involve surgery, incisions, or anesthesia. It’s called SculpSure®, and it uses the power of lasers to melt away fat and reveal the sleeker contours beneath.

As a leading SculpSure provider in Salem, Virginia, Michele Meinhart, FNP, and the team at Starkey Medical Esthetics offer custom treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique esthetic goals. In this post, learn how scheduling SculpSure now can help you get your body in great shape before the warm summer makes its annual debut.

SculpSure basics

SculpSure uses a laser-based technique called laser lipolysis to gently heat fat cells, destroying their outer membranes so the cells essentially liquefy. The laser energy used in SculpSure is highly controlled — just the right temperature to destroy fat without harming any surrounding tissue.

Because the energy is designed to penetrate the skin without incisions, SculpSure sessions are performed right in our office on an outpatient basis. In fact, each session takes about a half hour, and multiple areas can be targeted in one visit.

Afterward, there’s absolutely no downtime — you can go right back to your regular activities with just some minor temporary redness and tenderness in the treatment zone. Best of all, SculpSure doesn’t involve incisions, anesthesia, or scars, and of course, it’s also far less costly than liposuction.

Why now is the ideal time for treatment

Because SculpSure melts away fat, it takes some time for your body to carry away the liquid debris that’s left behind. Once the fat cells are liquefied, your body eliminates them as waste over the following weeks, remodeling the tissue in the area for those sleeker contours you’re craving.

For most people, that means it takes about 8-12 weeks to see the final results of their treatment. Though many women and men are satisfied with those results, others opt for a second treatment for more fat removal and greater refinement of their contours. That treatment also requires two to three months to see the final results.

Scheduling treatment now means your body will have the time it needs to remodel those contours. Plus, you’ll have plenty of time left over to find that perfect bathing suit.

Get your body ready for summer

Don’t let annoying fat keep you from enjoying your summer and feeling your best. SculpSure is ready to give you the firmer, sleeker contours you want without the hassles of surgery.
